Gilbert, Arizona

We just returned from our trip to Arizona. We flew out on Wednesday night to visit Tim's old mission companion Josh and his wife Allie. We had a blast! The first day we went to breakfast at a restaurant called Crackers, it was really good, we went shopping, then to Inta Juice (best smoothies ever) then we went to the Mesa Arizona temple Easter Pageant, that was really neat there were even live animals. Friday we went to a session at the temple and afterward we took pictures and went and saw the exhibit in the Visitor's Center called "Reflections of Christ" by Mark Mabry, they are real photos portraying events in Christ's life, they were beautiful. After our temple trip we ate at Gecko Grill, its a mexican restaurant, can we just say "yum". That night we went to Jester'Z Comedy Club, it was pretty funny, then we went home and relaxed and played Mexican Train Dominoes. Saturday we went and hiked the ASU mountain with a yellow "A" on it for Arizona State University. Then we went home and packed a lunch and went on a picnic at Freestone Park and played some more games and tried to feed the ducks. Saturday night we went out to Famous Daves BBQ, oh my gosh it was so delicious I think that our closest one is Midvale but there is also one in West Jordan. Allie's b-day is on 3/16 and so is Kruze's (a member that moved to AZ to live with Josh's parents, he's from their mission in LA), so they brought them out a flaming ice cream dessert. Happy B-day Allie and anniversary to you and Josh! We had a blast and can't wait to see you in June hopefully. We love you!
