Hey Everybody ( if it's too boring to read the whole post, scroll to bottom for pics)

Hi all! We are back in action, Houston we have a consistent schedule! Yay! Lots of changes lately. We both started school, I started a job, and then quit because I couldn't devote the time I wanted to it, Tim started a job, then I started another new job at the elementary school, oh then we got called to be Bear Den leaders in our ward. Hello, do they even know me?!? I don't know how to be around little boys, I grew up with all girls and 1 boy who was always bombarded by us girls. Guess that's why we got this calling, lesson learned. We've been really busy, I hate being super busy, but the one good thing about being busy is that we're never bored. How have you guys all been? I'm going to try to catch up on everyone's blogs, Facebook still seems a little daunting right now so baby steps it is, 25 blogger friends seems a lot less menacing than 200 friends right? Justification, my worst enemy in action right there :). Some things that have been going on with us lately are:

1. We are all moved in, its not so pretty right now because we are pretty much living out of one room so I won't be posting pics of the room with furniture until our family room and bathroom are finished probably. But for now here are the finished pics, I love it! Tim is my handy man! I'm so grateful we have family to live with so we can all help each other out, what a blessing especially in these awful economic times.

2. I bought this rocking chair for $10 at Savers, I know its not so pretty right now but I plan to have the back re-caned and remove the white paint to reveal the original dark stain underneath. Come to find out, this rocker is a real Thonet piece from his factory in Poland and could be worth up to $2,000.00. Pretty darn proud of myself for not letting the other chick who kept lurking around me get it. Victory! (I may or may not have bought it just to spite her, she was all up in my business.)

3. Tim's been doing lots of projects lately, one of which is building speakers, he's thought about doing a speaker building business on the side as a hobby. He's pretty good at it. Check out the link.

4. Tim's Grandparents Eagar had their 60th wedding anniversary, I got to decorate the arch they sat under. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of them under the arch but I know that other people in the family did so for now its just Tim "testing" it out for me to make sure it looks perfect. It was a great day, they are the cutest couple and so sweet to each other, glad they have spent 60 great years together, Happy Anniversary!

That's it for now, I will post more when I can.

You did an awesome job on the house and the arch. But we always knew you two were a talented couple;) I'm glad that things have slowed down a little more so that we can see you. Let me know when you have some free time and we catch up. LOL!

Love the way the room looks. You guys did a great job. It looks so clean. I just want you to leave it just as it is and not mess it up by putting stuff in there. ;-)
